Provide security services to ensure a safe and healthful environment for clients, staff, visitors, and those seeking our services.

Requirements

• Employment Eligibility Verification (Proof of legal right to work in the USA)
• Ability to obtain a BSIS Guard Card.
• Ability to maintain regular, consistent attendance.
• Updated COVID test
• Successful completion of background screening
• Successful completion of drug testing – we reserve our legal right to refuse hiring candidates who test positive for prescriptive medical marijuana use [70 Cal.Rptr.3d 382 (2008), AB243, AB266, SB643]

• Any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to project a professional demeanor and exercise mature judgement.
• Engagement and rapport building skills with guests, volunteers, and participants.
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals of diverse social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned duties with minimum supervision.

• Availability to work evening and weekends as requested by management and based on the operational needs of the program.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, visitors, clients, and those seeking services.
• Provide information or support, as necessary to guests, visitors, and those seeking services.
• Monitor closed circuit security cameras.
• Make regular rounds of the facility to ensure adherence to TMM security guidelines.
• Maintain security by de-escalation of incidents.
• Document all incidents.
• Assist with various projects as required.
