Security Associate / Customer Service Greeter
About The Position
Help Keep Our Stores Safe and Welcoming As a Crossroads Security Floor Associate, you’ll help provide a safe working environment for our teams and a positive shopping experience for our customers. Crossroads locations are fast-paced lively second-hand clothing retail stores where customers buy and sell their gently used fashion. What you’ll do: You will balance keeping Crossroads secure and safe while also acting as a welcoming presence and guide to our guests as they come in the front door. Exceptional customer service and good judgment are a must. Some experience in loss prevention and de-escalation techniques is preferred.
Requirements
- Prior experience in security (1 year+)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities
- Provide a physical, yet friendly, presence
- Offer security support at all times while providing genuine hospitality and warmth
- Welcome customers
- Direct, and educate customers
- Anticipate + Respond
- Work to de-escalate any disruptive incidents in collaboration with your leadership team
- Be a team-player
- Communicate well with all staff to deliver the best customer experience possible
- Assist on the floor
- Keeping the sales floor clean and tidy during downtime, or with putting clothes out on the sales floor
