Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Relevant security experience
Active Secret Clearance (Tier 3) or recently active (Security Clearance Level: Secret, Tier 3-Active or the ability to obtain (LSI can assist in getting you a clearance).
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to pass federal drug screening and background check

Exceptional attention to detail
Strong communication and professionalism
Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies
High ethical standards and discretion

Nice To Haves

Experience with DoD security systems (DISS, NISS, NCAISS)
Prior work with Department of Defense agencies

Responsibilities

Guard government personnel, property, and classified materials from unauthorized access, theft, or sabotage
Monitor entry/exit control points within secure facilities
Conduct continuous surveillance and respond to potential security breaches
Verify identification and manage access procedures
Issue badges in accordance with established security protocols
Respond to security and safety incidents
Monitor intrusion detection systems and alarms
Assist with investigations and preserve evidence as required
Support fire, medical, and emergency personnel access
Monitor fire protection and building systems (HVAC, gas, fire alarms)
Report incidents to Government and appropriate agencies
