About The Position
The Security Assistant position at Virginia Beach City Public Schools is a part-time role responsible for maintaining the security of students, staff, and school property. Under the guidance of the school building administrator and the Office of Safe Schools, the Security Assistant conducts surveillance, patrols school premises, and ensures compliance with security policies. The role includes providing security during school events and emergencies, as well as supervising students during lunch and other activities.
