About The Position

The purpose of the Assistant Security Supervisor position is to assist in supervising security staff, enforce company policy, and supervise the investigation of security-related incidents. Assistant Supervisor reports directly to the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Prior Corporate Security Supervisory experience preferred, but not required (Veteran, Law Enforcement experience preferred).
• Must be willing to work any shift, any day.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must be physically able to operate a variety of Security equipment.
• Must be able to exert up to fifty pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to twenty pounds frequently.
• Must be able to walk, stoop, and bend regularly up to 8-12 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential site-specific training emphasizing safety, card access, and fire/life safety systems.
• Cover all subjects within the site-specific Post Order manual.
• Be responsible for all security-related incidents connected with the facility.
• Ensure incident reports contain all pertinent information including photographs before transmitting to corporate personnel.
• Assist client investigators with cases by providing supplemental information.
• Conduct post and Officer periodic inspections.
• Maintain assigned equipment in functional and presentable condition, including updating documentation concerning said equipment.
