Allied Universal is looking to hire an Account Manager. Account Manager jobs at Allied Universal are accountable for day-to-day operations of an assigned account, including hiring, training, disciplining and terminating staff. Build, improve and maintain relationships with clients and employees: develop & retain staff; coordinate needed support services and solve problems to effectively run the account. Meet or exceed financial & operational goals; provide quality customer service. Maintains or oversees maintenance of weekly operating schedules and completion of payroll for assigned security personnel. Provides after-hour emergency response as required. To support and ensure success in this role, we provide a comprehensive, week-long management onboarding course designed to provide best practices, tools and guidance.

  • Supervise daily security operations at the Art Institute of Chicago
  • Lead a team of security officers and shift supervisors, including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client and security team
  • Ensure contract compliance and meet all reporting requirements
  • Respond to escalated security incidents and emergency situations as needed
  • Oversee security policies, procedures, and post orders
  • Manage staffing, payroll, billing, and scheduling through company systems
  • Monitor security technology and ensure proper implementation
  • 4-year degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Previous security, military, law enforcement, or facilities management experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in business operations, management, or security supervision
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing teams, budgets, and compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management software
  • Previous payroll, billing and scheduling experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while having an entrepreneurial attitude
