About The Position

PAVE LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Security & Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in the Nashville area. This role focuses on the installation, service, and maintenance of residential and commercial security and fire alarm systems, with opportunities to expand into full low-voltage integration. Requirements

  • Experience with security and/or fire alarm systems (residential and/or commercial)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Professional communication and customer interaction skills
  • Clean and organized workmanship
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm.com, Honeywell, DSC, or similar platforms
  • Fire alarm systems, inspections, and testing procedures
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP-based systems)
  • Experience with cameras, access control, or AV systems

Responsibilities

  • Install, program, and service security and fire alarm systems
  • Perform system takeovers, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Test and verify all alarm signals (burglar, fire, supervisory, etc.)
  • Ensure all systems are fully functional before leaving the jobsite
  • Provide client walkthroughs and basic system training
  • Document work performed with photos and detailed job notes
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
