About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Information Security Analyst to join our Cybersecurity Operations team. In this role, you will be a frontline defender, responsible for monitoring our hybrid-cloud infrastructure, responding to security incidents, and implementing proactive measures to protect our digital assets. You will work closely with IT and DevOps teams to ensure security is integrated into every layer of our technology stack.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in information security or network administration.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Google Chronicle).
  • Experience with Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS) and firewalls.
  • Certifications: At least one active certification such as CompTIA Security+, GIAC (GSEC), or CCNA Security.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
  • Experience with "Purple Team" exercises or penetration testing tools like Metasploit.
  • Understanding of industry-specific regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS).

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor SIEM and EDR platforms for anomalies; investigate and mitigate security breaches.
  • Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate with system owners for remediation.
  • Policy & Compliance: Help develop and enforce security policies in alignment with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.
  • Security Engineering: Install and maintain security tools, including firewalls, data encryption programs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Automation: Develop Python or PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive security tasks and streamline incident response.
  • Training: Conduct security awareness training for employees to reduce risk from phishing and social engineering.
