About The Position

SAIC is seeking an experienced Sr Security Specialist to support NGA’s Office of Security. This individual will be required to operate in a diverse security environment. This program can quickly adjudicate a polygraph for selected candidates with an active TS/SCI. An Active TS/SCI is required in order to be considered for this role. This position will be responsible for the following: The Functional Lead is responsible for overseeing the roles of all Industrial, Physical, and Access Control (Security Management System) positions This position will manage the administrative and technical requirements necessary to efficiently support mission requirements and the personnel performing duties as outlined in the SOW The Functional Lead will ensure individuals and teams will provide timely security support, and effort, to Industrial and Physical Security Division’s internal and external tasking’s, projects, and programs, to include Physical, Industrial, and Access Control (Security Management System and Department of Defense Common Access Card) This position will ensure individuals and teams will provide timely security support and effort to government personnel when acting on behalf of the Chief, Industrial and Physical Security Division Responsible for communicating issues and/or challenges to customer

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI
• Ability to obtain a polygraph
• Technical knowledge to support functions of a physical or industrial security program
• Experience in generating security metrics/reports
• Experience in working in the physical security or industrial Security field
• Task monitoring

Nice To Haves

• Possess the GSA-Authorized Safe and Vault Technician and Inspector Training Certification
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
• Physical Security Certification (PSC)
• ASIS Certification (any)

Responsibilities
