About The Position

We are looking for a motivated, results-oriented professional to lead security, risk, and compliance activities for a major health services initiative! This is a one-year renewable contract where you will serve as an expert consultant to leadership, ensuring information systems meet the highest regulatory standards.

Requirements

5+ Years of IT Experience: Hands-on work or auditing experience with IBM System 390/zSeries, Windows, Linux, Databases (Relational and Non-Relational), Networking Infrastructure, and Web-based Applications.
FISMA/NIST Compliance: Proven experience working within programs compliant with FISMA or NIST frameworks.
eGRC Systems: Prior experience utilizing any enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (eGRC) systems.
Professional Certification: Must hold a current ISC(2), ISACA, SANS GIAC, or equivalent Information Security Certification.
Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders and vendors.
Legal Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Candidates must already reside in the local area.

Nice To Haves

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 10+ years of relevant experience.
ITIL: Prior experience in Information Security Management using ITIL frameworks.
Health IT: Experience within the Health Information Technology sector.
Cloud Security: Familiarity with security requirements for cloud services and vendor management.
