Job Summary: The Security Agent is an entry-level role responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all persons and property, including but not limited to: hotels, offices, restaurants, properties, and retail locations. This may include foot patrols, responding to emergencies, completion of detailed reports, and interacting with local law enforcement. Our ideal candidate demonstrates diligence and integrity, while enhancing guest experience.

Requirements

Education – high school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Fluent English
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Ability to work outside in varying and extreme weather conditions
Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

Prior Security/Loss Prevention experience preferred
Previous Hotel experience preferred

Responsibilities

Identifying and reporting, or correcting safety issues
Assisting/interacting with guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner
Provide a high visibility presence in order to deter criminal activity and violations of resort conduct code
Submitting thorough and clear reports
Cooperating with law enforcement in investigations.
Use radio and telephone communications to call for assistance from Police, Fire, or Emergency Services as the situation dictates
Perform additional tasks as requested by the Night Manager, Security Supervisor or other Management Team members
