In addition to patrolling, the Security Agent investigates, records, and reports any accidents or incidents that may occur on the property. This includes writing incident and accident reports, monitoring investigations, and ensuring timely follow-up with guests and team members. The role also requires collaboration with outside law enforcement and government agencies when necessary. Maintaining accurate records is essential, and the Security Agent will perform basic office duties such as monitoring security cameras, maintaining shift activity logs, and entering information into the computer system. The Security Agent is responsible for administering the property's key control policy, providing key assistance, and conducting lock programming as required. Staying informed about security concerns and activities from previous shifts is vital, as is completing all shift logs and passing information to the next shift. The Security Agent must also resolve guest complaints and anticipate potential problems by reviewing incident reports.
