The Security Agent at Balboa Bay Club Ventures LLC plays a crucial role in safeguarding the hotel property, assets, guests, visitors, and team members. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the safety and security of the hotel environment. The Security Agent is tasked with patrolling the hotel and resort property to ensure the safety of guests and team members while protecting all hotel assets. This includes responding to house calls, assisting guests and team members with safety and security concerns, and providing assistance to injured individuals, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up on reports. In addition to patrolling, the Security Agent investigates, records, and reports any accidents or incidents that may occur on the property. This includes writing incident and accident reports, monitoring investigations, and ensuring timely follow-up with guests and team members. The role also requires collaboration with outside law enforcement and government agencies when necessary. Maintaining accurate records is essential, and the Security Agent will perform basic office duties such as monitoring security cameras, maintaining shift activity logs, and entering information into the computer system. The Security Agent is responsible for administering the property's key control policy, providing key assistance, and conducting lock programming as required. Staying informed about security concerns and activities from previous shifts is vital, as is completing all shift logs and passing information to the next shift. The Security Agent must also resolve guest complaints and anticipate potential problems by reviewing incident reports. Monitoring and tracking lost and found items is another critical aspect of the role, ensuring that policies are upheld and that management is involved in resolving any issues related to missing items. Safety and compliance with hotel policies are paramount, and the Security Agent must report any potential safety issues to management and take immediate action in emergency situations. The position may also involve assisting other departments, providing security escorts, and responding to emergency calls. The Security Agent must effectively communicate with both internal and external customers, demonstrating patience and diplomacy in resolving conflicts and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
