Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in law enforcement and/or corporate security, including experience conducting complex investigations.
  • Outstanding people skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a self-starter, with proven ability to lead and motivate.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with experienced presentation ability.
  • Capable and comfortable in presentations to high level executives and government officials.
  • Good working knowledge of standard Microsoft applications.
  • Must possess US citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Support the business in the development and execution of the comprehensive enterprise security process
  • Conduct security risk and management assessments at designated company facilities and recommend risk-based security measures to protect company personnel and assets
  • Support emergency planning and response
  • Provide integrated security assistance to enable the safe and secure execution of major business decisions, projects and base business.
  • Conduct complex investigations, which may include but are not limited to - thefts, fraud, conflict of interest, and numerous other violations of company policy.
  • Prepare investigative reports and brief Company legal representatives and senior management on investigative findings.
  • Conduct security inspections and reviews of Company-owned service stations and work with Company officials to mitigate risk to personnel and assets.
  • Advise company management regarding security related matters in assigned locations throughout the Americas region of North America and Latin America.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships and liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and peer private sector security professionals.
  • Provide executive protection for senior company officers, when required.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of security services for special events and other major Company activities.
  • Develop security awareness programs for Company personnel and make security presentations to employees and all levels of management.
  • Support the Global Security Americas Region Downstream supervisor on key tasks throughout the Americas region.
  • Perform other security duties as determined by Management.
