About The Position

As a Securities Specialist at UBS, you will be part of the US Fixed Income Client Services team, providing transactional support for institutional clients. Your role will involve collaborating with both external and internal clients to enhance processes, manage transactions, and ensure excellent client service. You will be responsible for processing transactions, confirmations, and managing exceptions and risks, while also performing root cause analysis to identify and implement process improvements. Additionally, you will assist with new client setups and ensure that initial trades are processed correctly, all while proactively managing the client experience and anticipating their needs.

Requirements

• A university degree.
• Strong computer skills and the willingness to learn new programs.
• Previous client services experience.
• Proven ability to build, maintain, and enhance relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with external clients and internal clients to improve processes, drive outcomes, and build lasting relationships.
• Process transactions, confirmations, and manage exceptions and risk.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify and drive process improvements.
• Deliver timely and complete resolutions to the client.
• Assist with new client setup and ensure the first trades are processed correctly.
• Proactively manage the Client experience, anticipate needs, and provide excellent client service.
• Collaborate across the Operations team to identify process efficiencies and solutions.
