The Securities Services Operations Associate Senior is a vital member of the Trust Operations team at UMB Financial Corporation, primarily responsible for processing incoming and outgoing wires for mutual fund clients. This role requires interaction with various UMB clients and internal partners to evaluate and process requests related to the transfer of assets, including unique and alternative investments. The Trust Operations team is dedicated to providing robust training that equips associates with extensive UMB and financial knowledge, enabling them to offer trading support for mutual fund and trust customers effectively. In this position, each Securities Services Operations Associate Senior plays a specific and impactful role in ensuring accurate processing of requests. The team members are recognized as subject matter experts who assist in reconciling and transferring funds in and out of accounts. The responsibilities include trading money markets and mutual funds for UMB customers through wire payments or ACH transactions. Associates in this role are also tasked with addressing client inquiries and issues, thereby creating an unparalleled client experience. Additionally, the Securities Services Operations Associate Senior assists the manager with wire reviews for other team members and is more involved in reconciliations for UMB clients. Cross-training among team members is encouraged to provide backup support when needed. The work environment is fast-paced and requires flexibility and adaptability to meet client needs.
