As a Securities Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in safeguarding client assets and ensuring accurate fund valuation and transaction processing. This role supports the fiduciary business through critical operational functions, compliance with regulations, and direct impact on client trust and satisfaction. You’ll gain valuable cross-training and growth opportunities in financial services operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years trust, investments, finance, or accounting experience.
  • 2+ years financial services operations experience in trust, brokerage, or investment services.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate and validate daily Net Asset Values for Collective and Unitized funds, ensuring accurate reporting and timely execution.
  • Monitor and process corporate actions, including reorganizations, tender offers, and calls, while ensuring timely communication and compliance.
  • Submit and reconcile corporate action instructions, verify proceeds, and ensure accurate tax reporting.
  • Process and monitor domestic and international wires, verifying accuracy and obtaining currency conversions when needed.
  • Reconcile and update held-away account transactions to maintain compliance and portfolio accuracy.
  • Research and process class action filings and settlements on behalf of client accounts.
  • Provide mutual fund operational support, including monitoring purchases, sales, and maintenance changes.
  • Cross-train across key operational functions to provide team coverage and ensure business continuity.
