We're currently setting up a new office in Houston, Texas and initially, this role will be home-based. When our new office has opened, you'll transition to be based in the office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, accounting or analysis
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to analyze information and make independent decisions
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Administer complex custody accounts that hold several different asset types
  • Reconcile incoming payments on the assets held in our account
  • Help to facilitate the settlement of bond and loan trades
  • Provide technical expertise related to the different facets of custody accounts, including trade settlements, wire disbursements, reconciliations, FX, etc.
  • Ensure all analytical or operational functions required for assigned accounts are performed completely and timely in accordance with department procedures
  • Be involved in risk related projects, issues and mitigation
  • Research and interpret legal documents such as Custodial Agreements or other related governing documents as issues arise
  • Perform all miscellaneous duties or projects as assigned or required in a timely and efficient manner; participate actively in process or system related projects, including assisting our systems support group with design, programming, analysis, testing, and implementation aspects
  • Propose recommendations and implement automated solutions to replace any manual or semi-automated processes on an ongoing basis
  • Assist with setting up new deals
  • Complete special projects as needed/assigned in a timely and efficient manner
  • Act in a lead capacity for the group in project orientation, coordination, testing, and implementation of complex projects
