About The Position

Secure Infrastructure Sales Director Key Role: Identify mission-critical contracts to execute tactical sales and pursue OTAs, Pilots, and other whitespace work across emerging mission needs within the DoD. Serve as a key lead engaging with program managers, senior leaders, the acquisition community, and DoD clients for cyber defense and secure infrastructure capabilities and solutions. Leverage senior-level leadership and extensive community relationships within the defense industry and government clients. Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the client's senior management to comprehend their needs and link them to the organization's product or service strategies. Engage across industry partners and resellers to generate leads, identify new opportunities, catalyze revenue growth, and represent the company at conferences and industry events. Maintain a broad and collaborative network across the company and engage in speaking opportunities, networking, and publishing to build an internal and industry reputation as a recognized professional in the secure infrastructure landscape. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience leading or managing large technical portfolios within the DoD
  • 10+ years of experience directly supporting the DoD, including a senior-level organization such as combatant commands
  • 5+ years of experience driving solution sales that support the DoD, including secure infrastructure and cyber defense solutions for mission operators
  • Experience successfully creating and driving engagement-based approaches to acquisition, including driving whitespace growth and cross-selling capabilities and solutions into adjacent markets
  • Experience engaging with key client stakeholders to discuss company capabilities and services on several large-scale projects, including driving program of record creation and large acquisition vehicle work
  • Experience working as part of an integrated account and opportunity capture team in a matrixed organization with a team-centric and collaborative culture
  • Knowledge of the DoD acquisition lifecycle
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • U.S. citizenship is required
