About The Position

As the Operational Technology Services Lead, you'll be part of our Digital Grid team. The Digital Grid team is focused on delivering technology-based consulting services and managed services to Power & Utilities clients who are implementing operational technology programs, capabilities, and systems (AMI, ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS) resulting in increased value and efficiency. Here, you'll build and lead our Operational Technology (OT) Services offering. The OT Services group is focused on providing utilities application implementation/deployment services that complement the product vendor services and traditional SI service offerings. Specific OT Services offerings including product configuration, patching, modelling, testing and application management associated with OT platforms including ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS, and major OT software providers including Aspen Tech, GE, Schnieder, Hitachi, and others. This position is fast-paced and ever-changing, which means you'll need to be a flexible self-starter and be able to manage changing priorities and learning new and rapidly changing technology solutions. We are looking for Operational Technology leaders who will collaborate with clients to transform their power and utilities business through disruptive innovation enablement and transformational design solutions. The team supports our clients in modernizing utility systems, processes, and products to enhance business and grid modernization platforms and services to support high performance in a rapidly changing and competitive energy environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, systems engineering, computer science or other related field required (4-year degree); master's degree preferred
  • Typically, no less than 5 - 7 years relevant experience
  • A minimum of 10 years of related work experience or a graduate degree and 8 years of related work experience
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience delivering consulting services to Power & Utilities clients
  • Proven work experience implementing multiple OT systems: ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS
  • Advanced working knowledge of one of more major OT platforms from Aspen Tech, GE, Schnieder, or Hitachi
  • Experience with leading OT implementation / deployment services of one of more major OT platforms from Aspen Tech, GE, Schnieder, Hitachi, or others
  • Experience leading teams, managing engagement economics and business development
  • Flexibility and willingness to manage significant travel
  • Experience building and managing client relationships
  • Critical, analytical thinking and complex problem solving
  • Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate and drive outcome
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Design the OT Services organization structure, staffing mix, and staffing levels
  • Define OT Services internal process for resource management, engagement management, and business development
  • Oversee OT Services recruiting and training
  • Develop the OT Services solution offerings
  • Provide executive oversight for multiple OT Services engagement teams
  • Serve as the client's leadership point of contact for active engagements
  • Create and maintain client relationships focused on delivery excellence and business development
  • Lead OT Services business development by identifying opportunities and overseeing the proposal development process
  • Work with the major OT product vendors to understand their product offerings and identify opportunities in the market
  • Maximize operational efficiencies on engagements
  • Communicate and monitor service quality in respect of specific client requirements, review project plans, and guide other executives in their implementation
  • Provide strategic and relevant insight, connectedness, and responsiveness to all clients to anticipate their needs
  • Stay current with the latest trends in the Power & Utilities industry to be a trusted advisor/subject matter expert for our client's business
  • Build strong teams at all levels and help resources further develop and grow their career
  • Collaborate across EY teams to leverage assets, tools, and knowledge capital to bring the best of EY to our clients

  • Providing leadership and direction up to and including Managers across multiple activities

  • Base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $169,900 to $388,200
  • Base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $203,900 to $441,300
