Section Manager, Supply Chain Indirect Professional Services
About The Position
The Section Manager, Indirect Professional Services is accountable for the leadership, strategic direction, and operational management of the Indirect Professional Services team within Supply Chain. This role oversees the endtoend sourcing and procurement of a broad portfolio of goods and services supporting Con Edison and Orange & Rocklands enterprise operations, including customer energy efficiency, engineering, enterprise technology and security, human resources, finance, facilities, and other critical corporate functions. The Section Manager provides strategic, commercial, and administrative leadership to ensure procurement activities are executed in alignment with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and bestinclass supply chain practices. This includes driving value through effective sourcing strategies supplier engagement, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role is also responsible for talent development, performance management, and building a highperforming, engaged team. In addition, the Section Manager serves as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external governmental and regulatory agencies, responding to inquiries and providing subjectmatter expertise and support as required. The role contributes broadly to Supply Chain leadership priorities and crossfunctional initiatives.
