About The Position
The Section Manager for Benefits will manage an experienced benefits team responsible for health, welfare, retirement, and leave management. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of a high-volume benefits department, including administration, walk-in services, and call center operations. The manager will also be responsible for managing vendors related to health, retirement, and leave management to maximize benefit value for the company and its employees. Additionally, the position requires reviewing and interpreting health care data to assist in vendor management decisions, overseeing employee communications regarding benefits, and representing benefits in union negotiations.
