About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a hospital-based Section Coordinator to provide technical expertise, operational leadership, and quality oversight within the laboratory. This role ensures smooth department operations, supports regulatory compliance, and promotes staff development while maintaining high standards of patient-centered diagnostic care.

Requirements

• Associate Degree (2-Year) in Science – Required
• State of Florida Technologist Supervisory License – Required
• ASCP (or equivalent) certification – Highly preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist – Required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology – Preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform STAT procedures and analyze testing samples accurately
• Conduct quality control procedures and maintain required documentation
• Assist in meeting regulatory requirements (e.g., CAP)
• Support training and competency development of laboratory personnel
• Prioritize and delegate laboratory testing based on patient needs and staff competencies
• Provide operational updates and feedback to the Laboratory Manager
• Lead by example and foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment
