Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Secretary - Boardman Sleep Center - St Elizabeth Boardman Hospital The Mercy Health Boardman Sleep Center is seeking a highly motivated and dependable team player to join our front office. This individual serves an essential role which requires incredibly strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize customer service, keep schedules full and balanced, and maintain an organized office filing system. World-class communication skills are also crucial for this role, between both patients, medical personnel, and technical staff. Shift/Schedule: Full Time - Scheduled for 40 Weekly Hours Shift Times - Days/Afternoons (8a-4:30p) No Scheduled Weekends or Holidays Job Summary: Performs a variety of administrative functions. Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, and takes dictation. Composes memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations. Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports. May assist with compiling and developing the annual budget. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under general supervision.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 year/Associates Degree (Preferred)
  • Previous experience in providing administrative /clerical experience (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in healthcare (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, and takes dictation.
  • Composes memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations.
  • Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports.
  • May assist with compiling and developing the annual budget.
  • Collects, compiles, and analyzes moderately complex data and information.
  • Composes straightforward written descriptions of results.
