About The Position

Assists in staffing in order to ensure appropriate levels of staff for quality care Communicates staffing needs to appropriate Managers, Supervisors, and patient care units Prints and updates staffing boards Assigns nursing staff according to staffing needs Performs receptionist duties and screens all personnel and visitors Performs receptionist duties and screens all personnel and visitors. Records absence from duty of nursing personnel and reports information to appropriate unit. Calls staff for reassignment or overtime; notifies and records appropriately; Assigns supplemental staff. Directs Supplemental Staff to units, validates sign in & out of supplemental staff Data Entry Provide clerical support to Director

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Two years clerical experience, preferably in health care setting

Nice To Haves

  • some college preferred
  • Staffing experience preferred
