Supports nursing personnel in providing direct patient care Answers telephones and patient call bells Organizes the medical records Greets visitors and physicians Organizes the unit with forms and office supplies Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heights Assists patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities Performs postmortem care Performs EKG's and blood glucose monitoring Observes and reports changes in patients' condition to the RN Other related duties as assigned.
