The position involves a variety of administrative and support tasks within a medical setting. Responsibilities include answering telephones, responding to patient call bells, organizing medical records, and greeting visitors and physicians. The role also requires organizing the unit with necessary forms and office supplies, assisting physicians and staff with electronic order entry, and supporting nursing personnel in direct patient care activities. This includes helping patients with activities of daily living, measuring and recording vital signs, and ensuring a safe patient care environment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
