Requirements

  • Skilled in managing complex scheduling and organizational tasks with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities while following through on tasks independently.
  • Proficient in data entry and able to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and edits letters, reports, and official documents using Microsoft Office 365 tools; transcribes, proofreads, and formats content for clarity and professionalism.
  • Drafts routine correspondence and composes original emails for various stakeholders.
  • Manages incoming and outgoing communications, prioritizing and distributing them to appropriate personnel.
  • Collects and analyzes data to prepare statistical, business, and research reports; compiles and finalizes reports for supervisor's review.
  • Maintains digital and physical departmental records; organizes financial transactions and office supply inventories.
  • Schedules and manages appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for department personnel.
  • Assists in planning and executing departmental events, including coordinating registrations and securing venues.
  • Welcomes visitors and provides information or guidance on inquiries; serves as the first point of contact for the School of Education.
  • Utilizes office technologies for communication, organization, and task management.
  • Stays updated on Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements and supports program review processes.
