About The Position

St. Joseph's Center is searching for a compassionate, detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills to join our team as a secretary. This secretarial role will provide clerical and general related office duties for Maternity and Family Services and support general operations of the Baby and Children’s Pantry with a high degree of confidentiality. This is a full-time position. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid PA Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and processes confidential correspondence, reports, agendas and general paperwork.
  • Answers phone calls relative to Adoption/Maternity and Baby and Children’s Pantry clients and monitors the Baby & Children’s Pantry entrance.
  • Assists with Baby and Children’s Pantry daily operation as needed.
  • Maintains and organizes all Infant Adoption files, coordinates application paperwork, compiles legal documents, and manages file archiving and retrieval.
  • Assists in donation tracking and completes thank you letters regarding donations.
  • Assists in planning special events.
