THE ROLE We are seeking detail-oriented Secret Shoppers to assess the Food & Beverage (F&B) and Merchandise experience at the New York Yankees Stadium. This role involves discreetly evaluating customer service, food and beverage/merchandise quality, and adherence to service standards and compliance requirements during live events. Successful candidates will provide objective feedback to support consistent, high-quality guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent – some college preferred
  • Must be naturally personable, friendly, and welcoming
  • Must possess excellent knowledge of service standards, guest relations, and etiquette as well as knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items
  • Must possess the highest level of demonstrable professionalism and customer service
  • Ability to perform calmly under pressure for extensive periods of time while maintaining absolute professionalism
  • Ability to work extended hours and flexible shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

  • Conversant in multiple languages – a plus

Responsibilities

  • Attending events as a regular guest while discreetly evaluating F&B and Merch operations
  • Assess whether team members follow established steps of service and brand standards
  • Evaluate customer service behaviors, including greeting, engagement, and service delivery
  • Observe staff knowledge of menu items, merchandise, pricing, and promotions
  • Assess speed of service, line management, and transaction efficiency
  • Evaluate food and beverage quality, presentation, temperature, and portion consistency
  • Review accuracy of orders and handling of special requests
  • Observe compliance with responsible service requirements, including ID checks where applicable
  • Assess adherence to food safety, hygiene, and alcohol service standards
  • Evaluate staff appearance and uniform standards
  • Monitor consistency of service across different F&B and Merch locations within the venue
  • Identify strengths and areas for improvement in service delivery and compliance
  • Complete clear, accurate reports within required timeframes
  • Follow defined evaluation criteria and reporting guidelines
  • Maintain discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
