About The Position

A Teacher develops curriculum and lesson plans, and present those lessons to their students, individually or in groups that facilitate active learning. Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment. They track the progress of their students and create reports to inform parents about their progress.

Requirements

Proven experience as a teacher.
Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures.

Minimum of three years’ teaching experience in a Texas Public School.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

To plan and prepare appropriately the assigned courses.
To conduct assigned classes at the scheduled times.
To demonstrate competence in classroom instruction.
To implement the designated curriculum completely and in due time.
To plan and implement effective classroom management practices.
To engage students in active, hands-on, creative problem-based learning.
To provide opportunities for students to access and use current technology, resources, and information to solve problems.

To maintain a safe, orderly environment conducive to learning.
