About The Position
The Classroom Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The teacher is accountable for the growth in student learning and must adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Louisiana Standards for State Certification of School Personnel Bulletin 746. The position is exempt under FLSA and reports to the Principal or Assistant Principal. The term of employment can range from nine to twelve months, with salary determined by the Nine, Ten, Eleven, or Twelve Month Teacher Salary Schedule.
