About The Position
The Classroom Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The teacher is accountable for the growth in student learning and must adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Louisiana Standards for State Certification of School Personnel Bulletin 746. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree and a valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate. The teacher will report to the Principal, Assistant Principal, or other assigned evaluators and is expected to fulfill various instructional, administrative, and professional responsibilities throughout the school year, which may last nine, ten, eleven, or twelve months.
