Position Overview: Deliver tailored academic instruction to students in grades 6–10, ranging from small-group support for learning disabilities to 1:1 intervention in self-contained or life-skills settings. Manage student caseloads and maintain accurate documentation of services, track student progress toward IEP goals, and ensure all regulatory compliance standards are met. Adapt and teach middle and high school core subject matter while collaborating closely with the Special Education team and paraprofessionals to maintain an inclusive learning environment. Implement effective classroom management and instructional strategies for students with diverse cognitive or behavioral challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• Valid Texas Special Education Certification for Grades 6-12
• Valid Texas Content Area / Generalist Certification for Grades 6+
• Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card

Responsibilities
