About The Position
This is a posting forSpecial Education/FA Teacher2025-2026 school year. Job Description and Current Compensation plan are attached.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate for grade level content area with required special education endorsements for assignments
- ESL Supplemental endorsement (If you do not hold an ESL endorsement, you will be required to obtain it by March)
- Knowledge of special needs of students in assigned area
- Knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process and Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal setting process and implementation
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- At least one year student teaching or approved internship
