Secondary School Science Teacher

Cornerstone Christian Schools is looking for a Secondary Science Teacher who is called to engage students in exploration, critical thinking, and discovery while pointing them to truth. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or related field
- Texas State Teacher Certification (required)
- ACSI Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong content knowledge in science (biology, chemistry, or related fields)
- Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- A passion for investing in students academically and spiritually
- Flexibility and creativity in teaching methods
Responsibilities
- Teach secondary science courses using engaging, hands-on instructional strategies
- Design labs, experiments, and interactive lessons that bring scientific concepts to life
- Integrate biblical principles into instruction, connecting faith and scientific understanding
- Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and the mission of the school
- Foster curiosity, inquiry, and critical thinking in the classroom
- Maintain a structured and safe lab/classroom environment
- Assess student progress through labs, projects, and evaluations
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and needs
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
- Collaborate with colleagues to support a unified, Christ-centered school culture
