High Country Plastics is a rotational molding and thermoforming plastic component supplier for the RV, Marine and Custom industries. SUMMARY: The secondary operator assists the Primary Operator with final trim on molded products. Primary responsibilities include routing parts, proper stacking to protect parts from damage, quality inspection for defects, as well as assembly as needed. Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 – 30 lbs. 30% of the workday and 30 lbs. – 60 lbs. 20% of the workday.

Requirements

• Ability to read prints and specifications
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Ability to communicate with leads and supervisors
• Computer experiences helpful

Responsibilities

• Trim parts using routers, saws and air tools
• Assemble parts using sonic welder, glue, and other parts and pieces as required
• Verify the prints for routing and assembly match parts
• Daily housekeeping
• Identify quality issues
• Notify a supervisor if any issues are identified
• Place parts in designated areas
• Verify parts received match order and quantity
• Keep pace with the oven
• Assist other primary and secondary operations or ovens as time permits
• Create a safe work environment
• All other duties as requested
