The Secondary Dean of Students is responsible for assisting school administration in maintaining a positive learning environment that supports students while ensuring a safe and secure environment conducive to learning. The role requires the ability to read, interpret, and follow State Board of Education rules, Code of Ethics, School Board policies, and appropriate state and federal statutes. The Dean must possess knowledge of District policies related to attendance, student discipline, curriculum, and testing, as well as skills in decision-making and management. The position also requires the ability to analyze and use data effectively.
