About The Position

The Secondary Art Teacher at Marshall Fundamental is responsible for providing quality art education to students in grades 9-12. The role involves creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, developing engaging lesson plans, and fostering students' creativity and artistic skills. The teacher will also participate in the District-sponsored Induction program for new educators, which supports professional growth and development.

Requirements

  • Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art.
  • CLAD or authorization to teach English learners.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) or more years of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement art curriculum for secondary students.
