About The Position
Iowa City Hospice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Second Shift Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, support to families and medical staff, and ensure a safe and effective environment for patients during the afternoon and later evening hours. The ideal candidate will have a passionate understanding and dedication to providing compassionate care and must enjoy working second shift within an autonomous setting while exercising critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage patient care. Our nurses combine their acute/crisis symptom management education with interpersonal communication skills to provide care for patients and families in physical and emotional crisis situations.
