About The Position

HeliService USA has a proven track record of performance having been ready for our customers on-time and are currently serving all developers and major tier-1 suppliers. HeliService USA is a Veteran owned and operated business, staffed locally, with over fifty percent of our employees having served in the military. HeliService USA has been able to build off their over three decades in operation, supporting offshore wind customers with crew-transfer, hoisting, cargo, and helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS). We are seeking experienced and dedicated pilots to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia. This position involves conducting IFR operations, crew transfer flights, and precision hoist missions with the AW-169 helicopter. We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic offshore environment and is committed to operational excellence.

Requirements

  • FAA ATP or Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter Certificate
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Total Hours (Helicopter) 500
  • Total Hours in command 100

Nice To Haves

  • CFI/CFII or equivalent
  • Multi Engine Hours (Helicopter) 250
  • Offshore experience
  • Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of risk management, SMS, and FAA regulations

Responsibilities

  • Conduct IFR operations in compliance with 14 CFR Part 135 regulations.
  • Execute hoisting missions in both onshore and offshore environments, adhering to company SOPs and safety protocols.
  • Ensure operational readiness, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, mission planning, and risk assessments.
  • Perform hoisting missions in the offshore environment, adhering to company SOPs, safety protocols and 14 CFR Part 133 regulations.
  • Act as a Co-Pilot while fostering a culture of Crew Resource Management (CRM).
  • Maintain compliance with HeliService USA policies, FAA regulations, and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
