The SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager at QuinStreet will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the company's financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP. This position involves the management and preparation of all SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and S-8, ensuring that all reports meet SEC regulations and GAAP standards. The individual will lead a formal quarterly reporting schedule, which includes the preparation of a reporting calendar and Disclosure Committee agendas. Staying current on new accounting pronouncements and developments is essential, as the manager will analyze, research, and conclude on new and proposed accounting standards, as well as changes to reporting and disclosure requirements issued by the SEC and FASB. In addition to SEC reporting, the manager will prepare technical accounting memorandums that summarize matters impacting the company, such as the implementation of new standards or accounting for new or material arrangements. The role also involves performing technical research and preparing memos on regulatory matters that affect the company's accounting and reporting treatment. The manager will interface with executive management, external auditors, and outside legal counsel, and will assist in the management of the company's insurance policies, including the preparation of renewal forms. Furthermore, the individual will be involved in due diligence for acquisitions, assisting in the valuation of purchase price allocations and preparing technical accounting memos. The SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager will also assist in annual revenue trainings and quarterly equity trainings for new employees, respond to other financial reporting requirements, and assist legal teams as needed in the preparation of 8-Ks and Proxy Statements.
