In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply and advance your knowledge of technical accounting and financial reporting. You will be responsible for equity based transactions (ASC 505 & 718), debt transactions (ASC 470), lease transactions (ASC 842), and other accounting issues as they arise. This role will also be a key member in planning, managing, and executing the financial reporting process. This includes ensuring compliance with both US GAAP and SEC regulations. Additionally, this role will be responsible for various monthly close activities, primarily related to the aforementioned transactions, and own both preparation and review of various types of account reconciliations. In this role, you will be seen as a process innovator within the organization and recognized for the valuable insights you are able to bring to the technical accounting and reporting teams. The ideal person for this position will have a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, lease accounting, and excellent technical and communication skills, and the ability to partner effectively across business functions.
