About The Position

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer
focused team, and is currently recruiting for a Seasoner to work from our
manufacturing facility located in Algona, WA on second shift.

As a Seasoner, this candidate will be responsible for operation of spice
machines assuring consistent flow of spice application. This position works
Monday-Friday 2:15pm - 10:45pm.

Requirements

• Must have good written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
• Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment.
• Detail oriented, organized, reliable and resourceful.
• Solid decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to frequently lift 50-pound bags of spice.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and fills spice machines as necessary.
• Ensures that there is consistent flow of potato chips on conveyor and correct amount of spice flowing onto chips.
• Makes sure the salts are within standard.
• Maintains accurate records of spices used.
• Responsible to keep spices with allergens stored away from other spices.
• Communicates frequently with inspectors, packers, packaging machine operators and quality assurance lab to guarantee product quality.
