About The Position

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and is currently recruiting for a Seasoner to work from our manufacturing facility located in Wilkes Barre, PA on 3rd shift. As a Seasoner, this candidate will be responsible for operation of spice machines assuring consistent flow of spice application. Requirements

English proficiency, required
Knowledge of food safety practices, GMPs, and SQF requirements
Must have good written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment.
Detail oriented, organized, reliable and resourceful.
Solid decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Ability to frequently lift 50-pound bags of spice.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Spanish proficiency, highly preferred

Responsibilities

Monitors and fills spice machines as necessary.
Ensures that there is consistent flow of potato chips on conveyor and correct amount of spice flowing onto chips.
Makes sure the salts are within standard.
Maintains accurate records of spices used.
Responsible to keep spices with allergens stored away from other spices.
Communicates frequently with inspectors, packers, packaging machine operators and quality assurance lab to guarantee product quality
