As a Waterworks Yard Associate, you will fulfill many duties that help our yard and warehouse run smoothly. You will fill, package and ship orders in a timely manner to delight our customers while also ensuring product is received and handled correctly throughout its lifecycle through appropriate scheduling, communication and procedures. This position is seasonal, working full-time approximately May through September.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to become certified to operate forklift equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

• Prior warehouse, yard, or construction materials experience a plus
• Basic computer or inventory system experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming waterworks materials (pipe, fittings, valves, hydrants, etc.)
• Pull and stage orders for customer pickup or delivery
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, yard equipment, or hand tools
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and safe
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies
• Follow established safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Assist customers and drivers as needed
• Perform general yard and warehouse maintenance tasks
