Seasonal Warehouse Operations Leader
About The Position
Pay: $20.00/hr, plus $1.50/hr shift differential for this mid-shift Shift: Monday-Friday, 11:30am-7:30pm, with overtime as needed including Saturday or arriving early Location: Indy North - 5550 W. 74th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268 Job Type: Temporary, not benefits eligible – This position will be supporting the department while a team member is out on LOA Job Duration: Approximately 4 months (Late March through August) Culture & Engagement: Safety First Standard, Food Trucks, Employee Events, Holiday Parties, Daily Pay Available! Requirements
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience - required
- Previous leadership and workflow delegation experience - required
- Basic computer skills for email communication with clients and other internal departments
- Proven success working in fast-paced, high-demand seasonal periods
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to be able to collaborate with team members and follow direction from leadership
Responsibilities
- Assessing daily workload and delegating tasks to department employees
- Prioritizing daily workload to ensure completion and accuracy
- Redirecting the team as necessary based on changing priorities when needed
- Maintain professional communication with clients and internal departments
