About The Position
The Seasonal Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing the flow of flowers and hardgoods within the warehouse. This includes checking in and verifying the condition of incoming flowers, preparing them for storage in the cooler, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of both the cooler and the general warehouse area. The role also involves receiving daily or weekly hardgoods deliveries, making deliveries as needed, and providing general assistance to other warehouse operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to stand and work in hot/cold temperatures for an extended period of time
- Able to lift 25-50 lbs
- Must have a clean driver record to be able to make deliveries when needed
- Must be flexible and willing to work longer hours and weekends during Holidays
Nice To Haves
- Floral/Florist experience
- Bi-lingual ability
Responsibilities
- Check in all flowers that are delivered weekly.
- Verify that all flowers purchased are received in good condition.
- Place flowers in cooler once they are cut and hydrated.
- Keep cooler clean and organized.
- Receive all Hardgoods that are delivered daily or weekly.
- Keep Warehouse clean and organized.
- Drive and make deliveries when necessary.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
