Requirements

Basic working knowledge of computers, RF Scanners and Warehouse Management systems.
Proven team member with skills to multi-task.
Proficient reading skills.
Ability to abide by all of Carter’s policies and procedures, specifically the attendance policy.
Must be able to repetitively lift cases weighing up to fifty pounds.
Must be able to stand and work for long periods including daily overtime, holidays and overtime as required.
Must be able to work consecutive days during peak season.
Must be able to work in varying temperatures.
Comply with blackout periods as determined by Management.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or a GED preferred, not required.
Six months automated distribution center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

General Distribution Center work (picking, packing, material handling, induction, etc.)
Maintain minimum performance standards while performing required job functions.
Perform the job with the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Have the flexibility, if instructed, to work in any General Warehouse function (anywhere in the building, any channel, at any time during the shift).
Use Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, voice picking technology, pick to light and other warehouse management systems.
Use basic computer functions as needed.
Be certified on lift equipment should this be required.
Work safely and abide by all of Carter’s Safety rules and procedures.
Other tasks as assigned.
