About The Position

The position involves leading a team in a warehouse environment to manage the receiving, storing, and distribution of materials and products. The role focuses on ensuring efficient operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the overall logistics process within the company.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation.
• Reads production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes them to production workers or assembly lines.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys them to packing stations or shipping departments.
• Marks materials with identifying information such as labels.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Arranges product in specified sequences for assembly by other workers.
