Job Overview:  The Seasonal Inventory Associate position supports inventory control operations within the distribution center during peak business periods. This role works closely with the Inventory Supervisor and cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance. Associates may support multiple departments, including receiving, warehousing, and shipping, based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred
  • Experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment is a plus
  • Ability to work overtime during peak/seasonal periods
  • Ability to lift 25–50+ pounds regularly
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to learn inventory systems and RF equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must comply with pre-employment requirements (including drug screening, if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Control – Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy resolution. Compare physical counts to system records and report variances to the Inventory Supervisor.
  • Receiving/Put-Away – Support inbound processes by verifying product counts, inspecting for damage, and ensuring accurate inventory transactions before storage.
  • Order Support – Partner with picking and shipping teams to resolve inventory issues and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Quality – Help ensure all inventory is accurate, properly labeled, and free of damage. Report inconsistencies and maintain compliance with company standards.
  • Equipment – Safely and efficiently operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as required. Use RF scanners or inventory systems to track product movement.
  • Safety/Sanitation/Security – Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times.
